How we pay the bills
Running a site like this takes time, research and a fair amount of coffee. We cover those costs through affiliate partnerships with online casinos. That’s the whole business model, and we’d rather you hear it from us than wonder about it.
The site is published by Northcrest Media Ltd, registered on Athol Street in Douglas, Isle of Man.
What an affiliate link is
Some of the buttons and links on our pages lead to casino websites. A number of those carry a small tracking code that tells the casino a visitor came from us. If that visitor opens an account, and in some cases makes a deposit, the casino or its affiliate network pays us a fee.
Deals vary from partner to partner. Sometimes it’s a one-off amount for each new player, sometimes a share of the activity those players generate over time, and sometimes a mix of both.
Does it cost you anything?
No. Clicking through one of our links won’t raise a single price. The commission comes out of the casino’s marketing budget, and the bonus, the wagering rules and the limits you get are the ones written in that casino’s terms, whether you arrive from us or type the address yourself.
What commissions can and can’t influence
Here’s the honest version. Because we work with affiliate partners, the casinos we list are mostly ones we have an agreement with. Partners may also get extra visibility in promotional spots, such as a highlighted bonus box.
What they can’t buy is our opinion. No casino gets to read a review before it goes live, ask us to change a score or remove a criticism. If a partner starts paying players slowly or rewrites its terms in a way that’s worse for players, we say so, even if it costs us money.
Sponsored content
Anything we’ve been paid to publish as an advertisement is marked as such, so you can tell it apart from our own reviews and explanations. We don’t dress up paid content as independent editorial.
Before you sign up
Casinos change things quickly, and what was true last month might not be true today. So before you deposit anywhere, have a quick look at the casino’s own terms and check that it takes players from your country.
